Yes, MORE make some real nice aftermarket ones, but there are also aftermarket ones designed just like the factory ones.

Guess it depends on what you end up having to pay. If the prices are close, I'd go for the MORE's. But, do the MORE's bolt right up or do they need welded or different holes drilled? I don't know.
What we ended up doing is modifying our 258 passenger side mount. Fuzz graciously loaned a factory mount to copy off of. We had to work fast though becuz poor Fuzz was gettin pretty tired lyin under there holding up that engine of his, ha, ha. (The factory one is on the left.) We cut the face off the 258 mount and welded a new flat plate in its place.


The difference in the 258 mount and the V8 mounts is not only the cushion hole orientation, but there are also 2 "humps" on the edges of the face that the cushion sits on that hold the V8 cushion up and have it only bearing on the 2 humps instead of the entire face.
