gschuld That's good stuff. You must get some decent traction off the line to pull a 12.6 with a relatively modest 103 or so. That's impressive for a naturally front heavy, light rear end tall rig! Maybe it's much higher center of gravity makes it easier to get the front end weight to transfer to the rear when launching. Perhaps you have started the next trend in drag racing! Before you know it...there will be dozens of lifted CJs running mud giant mud tires as their new secret weapon! It sure makes a good natural sleeper for those who are into the saturday night money races out on the back roads! You sure sound like an interesting guy. George seems to agree. I look forward to seeing your ride in person some time...preferable in action. George(the other Toms River George)
fuzz401 I have been getting 1.77-1.80 60' times with the 37's 1/8 mile around 8.2 to 7.78 84 to 86 mph I think it weigh 1900 front 1400 back 3300 total
gschuld Nice pics... Man those kids with only mildly hopped up street cars must be awfully taken back the first time they see you run that beast down the track! I would be entertaining to know how many egos you have damaged facing that thing! "So let me get this straight...you were beaten by a 30yr old lifted Jeep CJ running 37inch mud tires!" Must be hard to swallow for some of them. I see that they made you run a diagonal brace for your rollbar cage. Short of the braces, the cage looks just like mine. Three overhead bent tubes to a front hoop tied into the factory bar. The tech guys were probably at a loss as to what would make that thing legal under 13sec. George
fuzz401 they made me put the diagonal brace if I did not run doors on it and had to get hand restraints and glaves + the top on it yes I have done some egos some damage too
