harmonic balancer?

Can a 4 bolt balancer be used in place of a 3 bolt? If not what are the differences? Thanks in advance for the help!!

You can use a 4 bolt instead of 3 bolt, but it's still displacement specific. You may need to use the water pump and upper pulley to match. Bob tufcj
