Was on summit today lookin at some hei distributors. and i saw a mallory HEI the price seems about right. Im on a decently tight budget so thats why i am considering the distributor. Any thoughts on it? dont necessarily want to order a bad dizzy I figure ill swap in my stock dizzy gear so they match up correctly.

Sorry no experience with Mallory. The only thing that worried me is that they are associated with Accel (both a part of Mr. Gasket), and Accel stuff is horrible.
When I do HEI to my CJ I will be using the Proform (part# 67185). Have heard a couple people using them with sucess. They are also not expensive.

I run an HEI I got from here. I would reccomend it to both of you. I also used my stock gear to make sure the gears line up.
(unsure of the make of the HEI that is sold here)
