I would like to suggest that instead of finding 304 heads for your 304 block, locate a 360 block out of a Wagoneer and keep the 360 heads! :t:
I agree.. Especially If you have minimal money into the 304... But, you said you have a big cam... (What Cam?.. Specs etc)
Anyway, you had these 360 heads on the 304 right?... I'm guessing that you had the block notched for the larger valves?.. If so, won't that play a significant role in power loss if you switch back to the 304 heads?.... I might be wrong so, people please chime in on this...
