I have a used 360 with a prestolite ignition. I would like to put a motorcraft in it because my jeep has a motorcraft ignition any problems with dizzy/cam gear mateing up? I saw somewhere about diz O ring or gasket to adjust the gear height. Would it be better to just get a new set of gears from bulltear? Thanks Lan

the old gear might not mesh with the gear on the dizzy properly kind of like mixing axle gears, they kind of wear into each other and seat. I would get a new set of gears just to be safe, it'll also give you a chance to check your timing chain
