littlejohn I have a TF999 in the corner of the garage. I've never opened an auto transmission before, and I'm wondering if there is a way to check it to see if it is good. I don't want to rebuild if I don't have to.
ol' school power Only 2 ways that I'm aware of. Install it and roll the dice. Open er' up. You could probably just pull the pan and check for debris/chunks settled in the bottom.
