I know this isn't a question about an AMC but my buddy recently found an intake in what looks like it fits a small block chevy. Its got the dist. in back, thermostat in front and what look like an oil fill tube like AMC. This is deff an old school intake.....at least it looks old. Does any body know wut this may be for???? I think the numbers on it are like sbc-6????maybe but i dont remember. He found it in a old ass barn at his dads house and his dads doesnt remember where it even came from. 111!!! Id get some pics and find out the numbers for sure and post em but trying to get ahold of this kid is like finding the arc of the covanent. Help would be appreciated to atleast get this figured out. :-|

If the oil fill tube is cocked a little bit I'd guess it's an early SBC intake.
I've seen small blocks in tri-5 chebbies with the oil fill tube in front.

yea its cocked too the side a bit, I've never seen one like that before but is there anything special about it? Would it be better than a performer?

Well that depends, Chevy made many aluminum and cast iron 4 bbl manifolds in the "OLD School days" most were pretty fair performers..Pics would sure help. You could have one of the intakes from the 327/375 hp motor, or the early 350/350, Hard to say
