We are looking into having forged AMC 360 pistons made. These will be flat top 10.5-1 for 58cc heads and for stock rods. Post up if your interested in a set for .030 .040 .050 and .060 oversize. We will be quoting many mfgs
Diamond - $600 a set with rings (They allow for a better 1/16" ring set)
Wiseco - ???
Arias - $700 (setup for 1/16" ring)
Ross - $560 (seup for 1/16" ring)
I think Diamond has it on this so far as they have a better policy that Ross on reorders. Question is....is anyone interested in these?

I might be interested in 6 months after I comeback from Cali... (Going to another Machinist school)... What's the deal the more people we get the cheaper the prices?.. I'd love to run a 10.5 compression 360... Then I's be able to run a radical cam and straight 108+ octane... in a concord? or whatever that 4wd car that AMC made!!!... hahaha YEah!!!

There may be some that are interested in high compression pistons, but it seems to me that the bulk of the 360's are in FSJ's or swapped intoCJ's - in which case the pistons you are describing are a bit too aggressive.
The biggest problem I see with the 360 in general is the lack of an off the shelf pistons with a head style and compression height that would allow you to acheive at or near zero deck clearance with a good .040 - .045 PTHC (Quench), and a reasonable dish size to obtain around 9-9.25:1 static compression.
I, as I assume do many, have a 360 that I chose not to do anything with for the lack of a suitable piston. Short of going with an expensive custom forged piston to address the above issues, all the cast pistons available are too short to do it right and have that lousy trough style head.
I wish KB would make a Hypereutectic D-Cup dish for a 360.
We need a piston with a 1.62 compression height and a 23cc dish. This would allow you to deck the block about .005 to square it up, and account for a few thousands loss in rod length to resizing and a couple of thousands loss in stroke to crank turning.

=D> I agree with Waggy, I would be really interested by two set of those pistons, if we can have them :!: Thanks in advance!
