I opened the post in general tech that "Bigeloww" posted, I did not follow any links but did see the post "mrtazwrench" added about the worm block... I did not see any flags come up about worms but do not know about the firewalls here at work.
would just opening the post be where the worm could enter or would I have to follow a link??

I was curious, so I opened it too. I have current virus and firewall (McAfee and Ad-Aware, both registered), and didn't have any problem, didn't get any warnings.
The link went to some obvious SPAM site, I seriously doubt it had any connection to USA Today. I deleted the thread, just because it had no relevance to this board.
Update your virus software to current, and run a full scan just to be safe.

I did run a full scan and update often, but as I said I was at work so I did not know what the IT guys used, I will go ahead and do a manual update and run another scan Just in case... thank you for your responce.
