Do you have to have c clip eliminators to run spool in a 95 Explorer 8.8?
The c clip eliminator kit is more than the spool.

The c-clips are what hold the axle in. The design of a spool doesn't allow for c-clips to be installed.
So yes, you need the c-clip eliminator kit to run a spool.
