BREK Some of you may already know this, but damnler chrysler has discontinued the tried and true 4.0L :smile: and replaced it with 3.8L v-6 from a minivan #-o
tufcj Actually, the V-6 that they're using is the 3.7, which is their 4.7 v-8 with 2 cylinders lopped off (like GM did with the 5.7 and 4.3). The 3.8 they used in the mini vans was imported from whoever their Japanese interest is. Bob tufcj
BREK They are infact using a 3.7L in the liberty's, but we just got a new wrangler unlimited in I opened the hood and there sat a 3.8L

Lifted79CJ7 Yeah, they have sold 3 of the new 4 doors at the local JEep dealership and as soon as they get them in, they are gone. I'm hoping to check one ou here soon. Something as big as the unlimited or the 4 door deserves a small block.
