People don't like change! I just think of all the info. that was lost again, like head flow numbers between the diferent castings and what they could be taken out to. Also between iron AMC heads to Edel alum, ICH alum, HLR alum all unported & ported. And that came from some one that knows AMC's he built a motor for PHR motor chalange and did damn good. And drives a I think 10 second street car from Canada to Ohio reace and then back 2 years in a row!!! And that is one thing that comes to mind :smile: Dave ----

Well, everyone that knows someone from the other forum, or how to contact them, could direct them here. This site has the coolest emoticons anyway. :t: I bet alot of people are feelin a bit lost right now.

Well I hope its not gone forever. When Fran shut down the first one it was bad, This one that Brandon opened was good to! I think it was the best general AMC site on the web. The AMC list and Barts site are interesting but not the same. This site has great info as well and there are few who can match MC at a party(Stay away from the cooler).
So lets all support the sites we need for the best cars ever.

I have been checking the AMC site and the home page goes to GoDaddy.com holding page so maybe they are switching! Man I hope the info. not gone no more 6cly stroked how to‚Äôs or head swapping! Dave ----

It's moving to a new server, should be up in a day or two. Took longer than expected to move the files. Ditto on involved admin but hey, it's free. It will not die.

yes, it is being moved to a new server. It appears the size was larger than anticipated and took something like three straight days on a high speed line to transfer. Brandon tells me that he expects to have the site back up this weekend sometime. He is working updating the domain and forum software now. All previous posts should remain. This does happen time to time, the Eagle's nest and the AMX-Files have had these problems, so remember these things do take time. I know many are gun-shy because the forum has disappeared in this manner before! Just keep checking back, it will be back soon. :lo1l:
