I can’t see using a gear drive unless running very high valve spring PSI as they would put more of a strain on the chain and stretch it.
If all you are looking for is the noise I say add a blower! It is some thing you can see for that WOW factor and adds HP.
Yes I know a drive may add HP by keeping valve timing where it should at all times.
