J-10 for $400 my heart say yes my brain says no.

Hay guys I found a 77 j-10 the guy wants 400 to get it out of his place. I'm very temped but It's a basket case. It's a 360 auto. Body is decent. Also there is another guys selling a 67 military version of the truck for 3000 with and extra efi 454 w/computer. I just don't know what to do looking for opinion. This is in california.

I would do the j10...the old military jeeps are very nice looking but they had crapola axles (low spline D70 and a low spline D60 front with closed knuckles and drum brakes) I do believe they were 5.13 geared.
