how do the small air bleeds in the top of the venturis affect fuel flow through the idle circuits and the boosters. there are four bleeds on the primaries and four on the secondaries and i know that when they get dirty my engine goes limp and the bottom end is gutless. I just want to know what they do in the fuel circuit and how they affect fuel flow

The two inside holes are the hi-speed air bleeds and the two outside holes are idle air bleeds Open them up and it will lean out the idle and jetting.

Within the Metering Block, air from these Bleeds is mixed with the fuel
to create an emulsion, like frothy beer foam, out of the fuel before it feeds
the idle and booster circuits and promotes better fuel atomization.
In the Metering Block Main wells there are small cross drilled brass tubes
that amplify the "frothy" action even further.
These are pressed in under the small plugs on top of the metering block.
Un-atomized fuel doesn't burn completely, if air bleeds are clogged, power is lost.

thanks that would explain my rough idle and no go power under 1000rpm cleaned em out and it ran like a banshee
