I've done two of these in the past that use the valley pan gasket and I've got to do another one today. From what I remember it was a pain to get all of the bolts to line up due to the angles they were installed at and the manifold sitting on the ridges of the gasket.
Are there any tricks or a specific order of bolt installation that will make this go faster and easier? Any and all info would be appreciated.

Not much of a trick to it. They should line up just fine.

I hope that's the case today, but I seem to remember almost having to stand on the intake and hitting it with a rubber mallet to compress the valley pan enough to get the holes lined up. It's been quite awhile so hopefully my memory is failing.
