Anybody got a diagram or suggestion for routeing an AMC V8 with a York compressor? Crank and waterpump pulley are both 3-groove, outer groove for the ps pump which leaves a dual-belt run on the other side but im concerned with the lack of belt contact on the alt even with two belts. :-|

That is the correct way. If your pullies and belts are in good shape they should not slip. You do need to run both of them though.

 It would be nice to convert to a serp system.

That is correct. 2 belts for the alt/compressor. I've never had a problem, even with the high draw of the onboard welder. The PS belt does squeal once in a while though.

Thanks guys.
Stay tuned for my "stupid coolant line routing question" :!: :?

If you know someone who does Tig welding pick up some stainless 45 and 90 degree bends and a few short straight pieces.Pick out a good route then cut and weld them together. Now you only have a few short pieces of hose. The stainless wont rust and will polish up nice if you need it to. I've used it on mine for a few years now.

hhmmm...do you have any pictures of that Kevin? :-|
