Mine is also BitterSweet with Black Stripes :t:
Has Tan Interior, Go-Pack, P/S, P/B, A/C, Tint, Tilt, Visibility Group, Leather Seats but they're not in the car, they need re-done, even has the Passenger Side Mirror. It's no show car, but is mechanically solid. Has 15" Wheel Vintiques Chrome Magnum 500's, 15x7 with 215/65/15 Front & 15x8 with 255/60/15 Rear, coulda went a little deeper on the offset in the rear before gettin' to close to the leaf spring. Also have a set of Weld Wheels with 26x8.5 Slicks / Skinnies for the drags.
Unfortunately the motor is not together right now. After 15 years of runnin' it at the strip, I finally lost my self control, held it to 6500+ in first and second, and ended up spinning #5 Rod Bearing #-o my fault plain and simple, not the cars.
But it was runnin' so good and just kept on pullin! Didn't have the extra lifter valley oil line at that time, but it does now.
The short block's together, just gotta get'r'done, been workin' to much, gotta get after it and start wrenchin'.
When's the show in Dayton ? Is it different than the one in Springfield Ohio east of Dayton ? Or do they even still have the show in Springfield ? I've been outta the "loop" for a couple years due to my job and the "demands" it has made on my time. But since good jobs are getting harder to come by more and more I guess I've been over doing it.
Sounds like your car is very simillar to mine, except yours having the more desirable 390. May I ask if you've had yours long ? I guess with Muscle Cars getting all this attention lately, with Barrette Jackson on Speed TV and all, the Values are shooting up pretty good. Guess that's why when I pulled the bumpers off this week an took'em to be re-chromed it's gonna cost me $825 !!! :smile:
