This long weekend I busted tail to get my jeep back together in hopes of starting it up on Monday. The last big issue was the fuel system, having converted from 2bbl carb to Edelbrock fuel injection. After a half dozen attempts installing the gas tank assembly, it all finally fit together. My son was putting the drive shafts back on while I began to fill the cooling system. Fourteen quarts later a leak was discovered at the inlet tube. After much French lingo, the radiator was drained and removed. Today I took it to a radiator shop. They found two leaks and repaired them and pressure tested it. Now my new radiator looks like it has been weathered for ages. This $400 custom aluminum radiator looks like it was drug out of a scrap heap. Now I have to spend hours cleaning and polishing. I am really PUT OUT about this. What compounds have any of you used to renew the appearance of aluminum?

Got some Mothers polish. Worked great. I had Flitz at one time. Could not find my tube and could not find any place that had some. There were even people who'd never heard of it. Thanks for the replies.
