is there any reason you can't run the drag link to the top of the pitman arm when you do a knuckle over to keep the drag link level. if i ran it under the pitman the link would be angled down from the knuckle but it is level if i mount it above the pitman

No, just make sure you retaper the hole and there are no clearence issues.

hole has been reamed straight for heim joints and there are no clearance issues thanks
