well folks i'm out of the running for FSJ invasion... they are shutting the plant down... so as of sept i'm out of a job... time to start pounding the pavement again for a job... :(: but i did get greenie done this weekend... :mrgreen:

Nah not the whole Cooper... just our little plant down here... on the buisness side i understand... but damnit i just started in feb so y .08 years of service wont be that much of a severance check... if i find something within a week Cat said i could drive over for the night and party it up, but thier isn't a lot of IT jobs hanging around if ya know what i mean...

Wow... sorry to hear it for ya... at least i got to ride in a c-17 before i got out... was a lot better of a ride that the old C-131...

Man guys, that sucks!! Hey Frank, check out over here in Norcross, lots of IT jobs around here. When I worked at the Hilton that was the majority of our clients. Lemme know if you want some company names. What kind of IT work did you do? And Rollen, you can move on out here and get a job @ Lockheed! :) Jack

Thanks Jack... but Norcross is a little out of the way... i know i could get something out that way but i just don't want the commute... if it comes to i will but i aint thier yet... i'm just another IT guy... networks, telco, MCSE and etc... a little of this and a little of that... :mrgreen:

Better than being justa nother "OLD" IT guy.. Cobol, JCL, MVS TSO, Novell.. IBM 370-3090's (with hand cranks out the back just in case!)...And being the keeper of such "preciuos" Knowledge as, What happens when you trip and fall when carrying a 3500 step job on Holorith punch cards.. (Or I guess WHAT a holorith card even is..) Or thinking the VIC 20, TI 994a and Atari 800 were pretty cool even at 1000 dollars..(Sheesh Captain Kirk was still young in those commercials)
