CJim7 Does the oil filler tube/cap act as part of the CCV/PCV system on these motors? My Edelbrock intake (as well as factory manifold) has a port for a line at the rear section, but doesnt have any other vent ports to operate inconjunction. My experiece with other motors is they usually have two lines....PCV and CCV. I only see one obvious port......unless my suspicions about the oiltube are correct. Sorry for the steupyd questions.....I is lernin. :!:
dbesade Well I always figured (and I am an Motor n00b myself) that the Oil fill tube acted as the CCV as well since it has a nipple with a line going to the air cleaner. -Dave
CJim7 Thanks guys, suspected that might be how it works. My oiltube cap is a nice shiny chrome one with a self contained filter. Bling! But i wasnt sure, better safe then sorry as Momma always said. :?
