bor I have a 727 to a Dana 300 combo. 300 is a short shaft (if that matters). Who all makes clocking rings for this combo. Advance Adapters makes one that includes a longer imput shaft. It is my understanding that the shaft repalcement isn't always necessary.
cjmike67 It isnt really needed but for strength you will want to put in the new shaft!That way you have more spline engagement between the two.In the proccess of doing the same np435 and d300 combo and setting it flat in the chassis!Good luck on your project! :lo1l:
