I am thinking about putting a ford 9 inch rearend in my CJ7 when I install my 401. I have looked pretty much everywhere I can think of and cannot locate a ford 9 inch rearend with 3:31 gears. I am not sure if they even offered 3:31 gears or if they can be ordered aftermarket.
Does anyone know if a ford 9 inch even came with 3:31's
OR--is there another axle like a chvy 1 ton or something similar in strength that will handle a 401?
