would the 4barrel intake and carb from a 360 be to much carb for the 304 and would the carb need to be adjusted to make it run right

If those are on 360's, why not get the whole motor (s)?

guy told me if the motor was still there it probably was shot and i didnt have any of my stuff to test them. I went into the yard looking for a brake booster

If you can turn it with a breaker bar and a 3/4" socket on the crank bolt, it is likely salvageable, a good core anywho. :-|
