360 or 304??

I have just bought a '79 Cherokee with the 360 engine. I have a friend with a '74 Ambassador with a dead (or dying) 360. I've offered to sell him my 360. He's already been offered a 304 from a '73 Javelin. A) Which would be the better engine for him? B) Why should he NOT go with the 304?

360 would be better IF it is in just as good condition or better than the 304. They are both balanced externally so same size CID engine swaps are better in areas where flywheels and flexplates are expensive to obtain :wink:
