I plan to start tearing down my 360 this weekend and need to decide how to build it
I am building for power below 7000 rpm without sacrificing idle
Camshaft/valvetrain....what cam should i run for this application?
Exhaust....is there anything better than the edlebrock shorty headers?
Heads....I can afford to swap put on new heads, are the edelbrock ones worthwile?
Oiling/cooling....it is easy to forsee this motor to see some heavy duty if the dodge breaks so i am running a very large rad, and motor oil cooler, However it gets cold up here so i NEED a bypass for the winter, what setup would be best?
The big one
Intake/Carb....Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap AMC Intake to a recomended 750-800cfm carb
OR would it be worth the extra grand for the Performer RPM Pro-Flo® EFI?
seeing as it shouldn't suffer the loss of low end torque in the event that it is needed(im assuming that that large of a carb would suffer in the lower rpms on a 360)
I do not care if i dont have a better than stock towing motor as long as its not worse it is going into a j 10 that will only tow in emergencies(dodge breaks)
