OT: Need help with screw removal on a brake job....HELP!

I am trying to remove my front brakes on my 94 4 Door Civic and there are two screws that hold the disc on once you get the caliper off. I cannot get these screws to come loose! I have tried heating it up and spraying rust penetrator in it to no avail. Any other suggestions? I really do not want to have to drill these out and retap the knuckle!!! Please Help - I don't want to have to reassemble everything just to drive to sears for a tap...

Sometimes a turning impact tool works well, either the one you hit with a hammer or even try a battery operated drill with the torque setting on high. All else fails hit the screwdriver with a hammer sometimes the shock breaks the screw loose. Jeff

Thanks Jeff, I tried hitting it from every direction, heating, penetrating oil, rust remover, and everything all over again. I just ended up drilling it out a couple minutes ago. Not going to replace them - the wheel and caliper holds them on just fine......

Yup, that's what I ended up doing. I just couldn't see spending $$ on a tool for such a stupid job!

kinda silly to have bolts holding a rotor on #-o 111!!!
