Well, it's been about a month, but I finally got the garage all cleaned up, smell mostly removed and have decided to build some shelves! Man, now I have some floor space! My plan is two fold - one shelf system for my tool chests and another with a workbench (maybe on wheels?). Anywho, this is what I worked on the last couple days. Whatta ya think?
Well, I took the poor little civic and was somehow able to fit 15 2X4's in it along with 5pounds of nails and one huge wood sawzall blade.

And of course here is the wall where everything still lies. You can see where the stuff used to be on the wall. Man that still makes me mad!! (Also, notice all the cans of crap on the floor I have yet to pick up from "the accident" )

Well, I was in a hurry to get this done, and after I finished the first shelf, I noticed that some of them weren't quite straight. Oops! Oh well, I guess they will stay that way!

Anywho, I started paying attention after that point to lining things up correctly. Here is the lower half finished. As you can see, I doubled everything up so it is super strong!

I didn't have anymore plywood on hand, so I will have to wait to do the other two shelves. Well, Here I am adding on the top shelf. My orginial plan was to add some fl. lighting under the top shelf, but I have since scratched that idea.

Hmmm, 6"X4"....overkill? Nah!! 8) I wanna make sure this thng doesn't fall apart like that crap before!!

Well here it is all finished!! Woohoo!! Now to load it up!

Well, I actually somehow thought I was superman and could lift a toolbox FULL of tools. LOL, Oh how I crack myself up! I got the grey one up, but only made it about 6 inches off the floor with the black one before I had to drop it. #-o

Level as...uh.....something really level!! Woot!!

Anywho, as I said, I was going to add in the lighting above, but ran across this light when I was cleaning up that I had forgotten about. I like it MUCH better and is aimable!
