The pressures on, time is/was still at a premium so I broke down an bought one of these in Grey today at auction. The YJ column has totally crapped out and I just don't have time right now ... so ... well ... the daughter child has the first 2WD I've bought in 25 years :smile:

I had a ranger for a while and drove the pee out of it. I blew the head gasket on it a second time and got rid of it. Great little truck....

LOL, I had the 2.3L also. I must agree, not a pocket rocket. LOL, heck, it's not even a pocket snail. It'll get you there, just don't bet on being early!

Tell ya what - drove it home today - pics to follow, still at work - but it stepped out right smartly for a FI- 4 banger. It was fun to row thru the gears and seems to like the 80MPH marker on the speedo :mrgreen: I don't plan on any long trips with it though - not enough room and can't tow the Jeep :-|

Pretty sure they aren't still using the 2.3L's anymore (or at least god I hope not!), but if it is one, read the attached - I found all the donor parts to do this for my ranger for ~$800. Decided to sell it instead....
