Went back to the Chicago area last week. Found a house and made a successful bid. I close on Dec 20th. I have to report to work out there on Jan 2nd. Really going to miss Colorado and my friends here   . I'm just 2 1/2 years away from a full pension, and I haven't found a job with the company locally, and I can't afford to walk away. I have family there, and I grew up there, so it's not like I'm a stranger to the area.
On a side note, I pulled a 12K trailer at 70-75 MPH all the way, and averaged 12 MPG with my Duramax. Got about 15 MPG coming home with the empty trailer.

Well good luck Bob - sometime the right call is hard to make. But look at it this way, when you DO finally retire - you can move back out to CO to your currnent stomping gorunds if you want :sa:
Rollen - we put them away for the winter. Don't want to OD on good things 8)
