slagburn I'm trying to find info about 993 heads, or 321993-1 to be specific. I have a set that's been gone through but can't find any flowbench numbers for them. Are they a good flowing casting? also. These heads, at 61cc after porting, with a flattop piston with valve reliefs should be 12.5 or so in a 401 right?
jeepsr4ever 993 heads were the dogleg 58cc heads that had single rockers and the heads had milled lsots for pushrods. Here is a pic of the thickness of the casting for porting info http://www.bulltear.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4594
slagburn thanks for the info! These have a 2.08 intake put in, and it looks like the valve is pretty shrouded. Can I safely take out enough chamber material to fix that, or is it a non-issue?
