Hi, fresh .030 pistons (cast) .030 hastings rings are measuring .024 gap (spec is .010-.020) any opinion on this would be appreciated , Thanks :wink:

4.195 should be the bore size. Sometimes a machinist will oversize the bore a couple thousanths. Check the bore size...at .024 I wouldnt worry much about the extra couple thou.

Are ya gonna run NOS??? If so, you'll need WAY more gap on the top ring.
