need amc info

have to show amc manifactured jeep & then went out of business, so i tag my 85 historic. dmv wants proof amc made jeep, my title just says 85 jeep , dosent have amc on it.

it was bought out by chrysler corp. can't believw the dmv is that moronic #-o just drive of tow your jeep to the dmv, bet them 20 bucks and lift the hood. the smog sticker will have AMC on it. just my opinion

Another reason Mary-land is STUPID!!! Yes AMC made 1985 Jeeps - I have one. I'll have to find the title to see if it say AMC though. Does the VIN ID tell you it's a Jeep?

yes the vin should be 1j..... or something like that J = Jeep so according to te VIN its a Jeep it doesnt say it was owned by AMC.

I have been looking for a good source that gives the timeline of jeep/ kaiser/ amc but have yet to com up with anything
