Video editing software....

Anyone know much about this stuff? I just picked up a miniDV camcorder and am looking for just some entry level editing software to be able to cut and past clips, add some music (music ability to fade in and out while sound from video is either playing or muted), etc. I am not looking for anything super fancy, just the basics to have a little fun and edit some stuff together from the upcoming Vegas trip and future fourwheeling trips! Hmmm, in order to download it, they want to authenticate my version of XP. Hmmm, that could be a problem... :roll: Back to searching again...

i got a cd with xp2 if ya want.... :mrgreen:
