tarior I installed my valley oil line last night, but not heeding MC's advice to leave the beer alone until after the job is done, I drilled a 13/64" pilot hole perfectly into the oil galley.....right between the #1 and #3 lifter bores #-o #-o #-o CRAP!! Fortunately, I own a TIG machine and I welded it up today, I used Welco #65 nickel rod with the flux sanded off and a 2% thoriated tungsten. I preheated the immediate area around the weld to about 250 degees, welded it up and peened it. I think it will be OK... :oops:
