Iguess this is the part that confused me ... crossed close to the pumpkin ...

Seems that would be like standing in the middle of a long board between 2 saw horses at each end (not that I have EVER have done that :oops: ) But you get the picture ... the board bends in the middle much like (I think) an axle under 5-8K pounds of tension would. I can see the crossed chains to control lateral movement. But wouldn't coming off the spring perch area be better? Or is that what you ment with the cross over close to the diff?
