I have two of these, so one is for sale, your choice:

1.) BRAND NEW NOS, with everything that came with (intake, Dominator to std Holley adapters, gaskets, bolts, studs, stickers), except the box. Never used and looks like it!!! $1,500

2.) Used - nice condition, ready to use. $1,000

NEW: I have the majority of linkage needed to mount the carbs sideways to go along with whichever one sells. Just needs a piece of threaded rod and a hiem joint, as I recall.

NEW: I will trade BOTH intakes, the linkage described above, a complete linkage set, and an identical pair of Holley 600 vac sec carbs, for a '70 & up STR-11 crossram for AMC.

These run GREAT on the street (& strip), actually having more bottom end and way more top end than a Torker. Nothing un-streetable here, my 390 had 9₁ and a .560 lift cam.

Also have a few sets of carbs, we can talk about those, too.

How to put oil in the engine?
Most people put a breather/oil fill in both valve covers.

The intake is 9" from block flange to carb flange.

Yes, you can see the carbs!!!

Well, if you ever did any pc movies, you'd know that 2 megs is only a few frames. The screen cap is from a nite burnout (full vid is 500+ megs) and the mpeg is part of a day burnout on hot pavement with very little traction. And, that wasn't from the back seat. AMXs have NO back seat, being two seaters. The cam was on the driver's right shoulder as the 3-step button was released, and grabbed by the right hand in the .5 second delay dialed into the delay box, as the 5-speed car's hydraulic clutch, line-lock, and clutch-in rev limiter released and launched at 6800 RPM, and quickly lit the shift lite at 7300 RPM. Luckily, the car launched and stopped straight within the 100 total feet available before mowing down the fence. Kinda hard to juggle it all. Glad the NOS bottle was empty, or I may have had a more exciting time!!! I had a gallon of "Bite", but no sprayer, and the slicks just went up in smoke when the front shocks topped out. The reason why the pic is even here is because somebody wanted to see how much of the carbs, etc. stuck out of the hood. "Thing sticking out over the rad"??? You mean on the right? That is the 7/8" SS braided fuel line with pipe insulation over it to keep the fuel from percolating. That braided line has a mind of its own when you are trying to get it to lay down. And don't let it touch anything!!! Being harder-than-steel, stainless will saw through (or at least disfigure) almost anything!!! You can see it in the front-on pic of the AMX, covered with the orange foam.

Holeshot :roll: Man I was just knock'n on ya a bit :oops: Never having had an AMX I sorta forgot the no back seat deal. To many years with two kids and seems like I've always had one (a back seat that is) - even my P/U's! And until they are both outta the house and not in my bank account, it'll be a while before I can get one - if they're still available at a resonable cost! And juggling all that stuff at the same time, while the go peddle was pushed? You have faster hands (and reflexes) than I do!!! As for the fuel line - - I can see the orange hose on the passenger side in the first pics, just didn't recognize it on the pic as sticking out front. Yup done some mpegs and they can get to be large. Still trying to convert all the movies I took in the Deserts of Oman, UAE, Saudi, etc ... Pat
