OK, new bodge job

I had some time and material this weekend so I set to work mounting my seats.

I finally got the seat mounts built and the APC seats installed =D>

I had previously welded in a cross bar just above the floorplates of the rollbar, and tacked in the rear seatbelt points.

After making the seat foundations and getting the tie points in - I ran out of weekend. One of the other problems handled this weekend was the 2003 Suburban eating a battery 111!!! It's off to the dealer Wed for some warranty work because the dash where the radio is gets too hot to touch :shock: I'm pretty certain the two are related :!:

Gotta get the Waggie finished and get rid of the Suburban beast :t:

guess i better get your wag parts ready, :-| things are getting somewhat back to normal, the wife still can't lift over 10lbs, or drive for a week yet, makes it kind of hard for her to take care of my 19 mo son. #-o

Thanks Chad - but take care of Mama-san first! Or maybe design a baby hoist for the buggie? That way she won't have to pick him up. :idea: Pat

Yup Frame's bent 1.3" to the passenger side (I said 1.5" ... so I didn't measure accurately 111!!! ). Should be getting it back from the frame shop today or tomorrow =D> After I trade them about 4 Franklin's for "services rendered".

Got the work bench cleaned off and I'm getting ready to pull the rear axle, clean off all the unwanted (unused and bent) brackets and install new shock mounts and the the disc brake setup. I figure while I'm under there I might weld in a rear crossmember to mount the shocks and a future traction bar to keep the spring wrap down :wink:
Might even get a wild hair and make something like this to support the other end ... I've got some 3/8 and 1/4 plate and looks easy enough :shock:
