tarior I have a 360 crankshaft that has grown some rust while sitting around waiting for a home. I remember something from a metallurgy class some years ago about intergranular corrosion in ferrous metals which has me worried about cleaning it up and using it. Anybody out there ever clean up a rusty crankshaft and use it?
Mudrat Sorry to hear about your crank dude :oops: But what Fuzz said; fuzz401 wrotebest thing have it checked for size if any thing it might be able to be polished Have it measured and polished :shock:
