pitjeep what all do i need to go from manual to auto on a 79 cj7 304, from my understanding a tf999 is the stronger auto & is a direct bolt up to a dana 300 which i already have. i need flywheel,tranny,drivrshafts, shifter, what else Thanks Rob
Bendaman You' ll need a way to cool that tranny fluid, either a raditor that has tranny line ports or a stand alone cooler.
jeepsr4ever The front shaft will rub on the tranny if you arent up at least 4"s on the suspension and always use a kickdown or you will burn that tranny out in a day...a nice shift mechanism is always helpfull....its a pretty basic setup
