AX-15 is a good Medium duty transmission. It would probably hold up fine to street use, as long as you don't beat on it. Otherwise i dont think it would last to long.
The only issue i could really see is the length of it. They come in wranglers mostly and the shifter location my end up being kinda far under the dash.
