$1000 Reward! Most recorded horsepower

St. Paul automotive is offering a $1000 reward for the most recorded horsepower at the rear wheels. Must be street legal! They have a dyno capable of 1450 hp and 200 mph. 651-298-0956

thats alittle too far for uncle jay to take the 69 chevelle ss396 pro street. it has a certified 1000hp to the rear on blower and 1400hp when the laffing gas is used. it was tested at a truck dealer in idaho. when the beast is shown the dyno sheet is posted along with 1/4mile times. the1/4 times vary with which set of gears are being used.

nitro is not street leagle, Is it?

laffing gas can be used in idaho and ca. so far we haven't had a reason to use the nitrous .nobody has been able to catch the big dog yet.

I think we have a point of confusion.. Nitro (as in nitromethane) and Nitrous (as in oxide or laughing gas) are two different things.. I think nitrous is what Rollen is talking about. and is street legal in most states.

Point taken - but the place where the Waggie motor is, is loaded iwth NITRO trucks :? In fact they're working on a highly modified SS that cranks 2000 HP :shock:
I've gotta go back down tomorrow and drop off the top and bottom parts (the oil pan and intake) :wink:

i guess "youdidwhat" may have misunderstood what laffing gas is or is unfamiliar with the term. laffing gas is the same stuff you get when you visit the dentist.its for wusses who can't handle the dentist office(me). nitro is that juice that well gives you that great smile after you run 4.55 in the 1/4 mile.
