ok put your FREE oil in and new wix filter oil pressure increased to about 70 psi at 60mph. 10 psi higher than the 20w-50 and fram filter. is this normal. Plus the oil smelled like gear oil (hypiod). I know the cold up there kills your senses. :?

Was this the AMC HD Oil from the FSJ Invasion? If so, others have reported the same results in AMC racers.

yep
it was some of the oil raffled off at the eic. it just seems weird to have an increase in oil pressure useing a light weight than I was running before. MC is stumped too, going to check the oil relief this weekend.

I am baffled it went up soo much.. Based on the laws of viscosity it should go up over 10w40 however

i don't know what i had in my 360 when i got it, my pressure went up a little bit with the amc hd oil.
