Lifted79CJ7 Yeah, sounds pretty good so far - I think I'm going to take it. Would be a 25% raise with good possibility for promotion, so I am pretty stoked. In addition, they would pay off my current lease with my two roommates (have a lease until the end of October). The hotel is a 3 star hotel right now, but is teatering on 4 stars - that's were I would come in. From everything we talked about today, the job would start June 1. :shock: The only big catch do far is that the hotel is currently up for sale. The management company I work is running for some owners who are wanting to get rid of it, and my company wants to buy it (since they know the property is a good purchanse). As of right now, they have the highest bid, so I guess we will see what happens. The down side? If the deal falls through and they don't buy it, I would relocate somewhere else. Basically I would be living in a hotel for around a month again. :roll: So in short, I am going to turn down the job offer in Norfolk, as well as the gig Williamsburg. I also just turned one down locally in Virginia Beach. Man, a couple years ago, I was begging for a job, now people are calling me from out of the woodwork! All I know is that I think I really want to get out of VA, and Atlanta is a lot closer to my GF in Knoxville, TN and my family in Nashville TN. Although I would REALLY miss the beach if I move!
