Goose Well after a whirlind 4 week and 12,500 mile tour of the 48 states I'm home again for a few days.. Looks like I also bought a truck..1999 Peterbuilt..(with fuel prices this high I must be high) but hey never let fear or good sense guide you.. Got a deal on it 35,000 (you know when you think that you can barely buy a 1 ton Dodge for that today..it seems really cheap.)
jeepsr4ever :t: Welcome back Goose!!!!!! Dang you did some drivin' I take it you had a pizza DELIVERED when you got home :?:
rollen dean montoya well goose, if ya would have stuck around out here you could be going to gene autry's melodyland rach for the once a year open house. i'll be there in full gear. godd to have ya back.
Goose Well I was out in your neck of the woods and pyagids as well several times.. I hang out there in victorville at the pilot until the craziness in L.A. sorts itself out then sneak in to town (as a bonus the scale house on Cajon is usually closed late at night) And I run the back roads through Grass valley and susanville quite a bit.. Let me know when you are out there at calico and I'll work a load to swing by and see ya in action.. Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow mindedness. - Mark Twain
Penguin Welcome back Goose. Not to bad of a price for a Truck. Your right on the comparison for a new pickup truck.
Goose Well And now that I have bestowed upon you kind folks all of my grand insight and pernicious patter.. I'm on my way again in the morning (friday) no doubt to some previously overlooked corner of the Wonderfull country..(Armpit Arizona no doubt) Adios for a few weeks..
