What I personally would do with this motor

Well if I already had a healthy jeep or AMC hot rod I would install this motor in my daily driver.....yeah its nutty but I drive a 97 ZJ (grand cherokee) as my daily driver.....its nice but even though its got a 5.2ltr 318 I wish it had more power. ...a AMC powered ZJ..... :-| Too bad I cant enter the raffle :(:

Just means the CJ project is either on hold or scrapped for a year or 2. I figure i could pick up a YJ at anytime, this is no where near as common Only thing I know it NEEDS right now is a gas tank so if anyone comes across one or knows of a place for parts let me know

Well, If I win it, I would just have to finally step up and put it in the 38 Dodge coupe.. or maybe scare the crap out of myself and put it in the cj-5. anyone ever notice that a v-8 cj is a lot like a fuel altered without doors.. (you know, wheelies, tire shake, the whole completely sideways adrenalin white knuckle fun..)

Yep, got one in a CJ-5. What I really like is the power/weight ratio. But I have to say that on the road it is a bit scary. I like the CJ-7's with the big engines. I maybe will just have to buy that CJ-8 that I have wanted.

Yup, wheelies U-joints and white knuckles :lo1l: Been there-done that in a CJ5 :idea: I was a little more responsible when I dropped the 304 in the 8 after I stretched it. Harder to get wheelies out of it, but it sure did pull nice =D>

:lo1l: If I won that sucker I would option it out w/ Edelbrock heads and EFI, cam, etc. Then I would put it in my '73 CJ5 in place of the tired 304ci. I would replace my current Centerforce clutch, rod the radiator and have the headers ceramic coated. Then I would blast CRXs and Camrys and still have the option to climb hills and sand dunes. Chris

How about replacing the 360 currently in my 80 Cherokee WT. Over 200K miles on her original engine and still "running" (more smoking than anything else). Would sure be nice to have a new heart under that new paint and turning them new tires. =D>
