Need help from members

I really need some help from members here. This is what I need to accomplish. 1. A e-commerce store with all our products and descriptions Thats it....I know it sounds small but I do believe it will be a huge deal. Anyone here do this for a living? We desperately need to get a store up. I get countless emails from members and non members hwo are asking about parts we dont have listed. Please help #-o

The engine kits need to offer more flexability over what Fastengineparts.com offers though thier layout is definately based on visuals which makes a huge difference. but they dont go much further into depth on thier kits nor do they seem to truely understnd how AMC's respond to different cams like what works for a 304 shouldnt be in the same kit for a 401 etc flexability like in better assortment of cam profiles etc. I know you know this but all to often it gets overlooked what have you got planned for the engine kits, you got the knowledge to go above and beyond what fastengine does like 343 cast pistons offer an option for 360 owners to get a higher compression ratio over stock replacement 360 pistons, sell em as both a 343 kit and then use them for a higher compression kit and list it as a 360 cast piston kit too. and offering kits that can provide more details about thier potential hp gains and efficiency ranges. Via offering slightly more aggressive cams etc just thought i might throw that out there as you offer so much in knowledge and so few people understnd these things who are selling kits or parts and technical information is what really leads the buyer to a thurough understanding and a more educated (satisfied) decission. Also add a tech section on engine building, more specifically how to machine AMC heads for guideplates, roller rockers and or how to properly re guide a set of amc heads and get the seals to work, all too often this area is what gives amc the bad name, easy to do right but often it is done like a chevy head details bucko, details we need some details :idea:

Hey guys ... right now the Cart is in the yard, but the horse is still in the barn!! :shock:

I need all the pix (prefer well focused, HiRes 1024x768 minimum) of all the stuff Bulltear makes - which there is a lot more than is shown on the front page - and some speed shots from our racers, pullers, mudders and crawlers. The tech description of the part (301/306 Stainless, 6061 Al, nickled, chromed etc.) Then we can start putting together a layout by type (engine, tranny, functional, bling, etc.). Then, make it functional, pleasing, useful ... Get the boss to approve the draft concept (re-spell check everything - that always burns my buns when I see advertisements with gross misspellings). Then, throw a web sample together (we have web programmers that will help in their spare time) , get the feed back, modify what needs to be. THEN get a sample of 50-60 print copies out there before we go into production of the Bull-RAG (Raging Automotive (or AMC) Genius) and marketing - like maybe a 4-5 page insert into FSJ Mag, or Extreme Offroad Magazine (awesome rag, if you don't get it now - your missing out!!! )

Then MC needs a much BIGGER shop and crew to turn out mega-product!!! (Think ahead and think positive MC!!).

Open the BULLPIT testing grounds for outrageous concepts and products - host sellout crowds for mud drags and rock crawling (we'll have to import the rock into the lakes and pastures of Cheese-country of MN or move to a hillier terrain (TN?) though :smile: )

Then, I can really retire on profits and management of BT Industries - get free BLING (occasionally? maybe??) and travel to all the great wheeling spots on earth promoting BullTear products =D> :?

Agreed, I'd have to learn to speak Egyptian, mumble along in Afrikan, re-learn German and maybe brush up on my Spanish and Russian (I'm really rusty).

But ya know what - I don't see this as that far off!! :t: (except the language part :oops: )
When that happens I can travel to forum members homes and kick thier ass because they aren't VOTING too 🙁: !!!

Potentially a good format for the web page is doing something similar to AA where the catalog that is put together can double as a PDF internet site till Bulltear can really get going with this stuff. I've got 12 shops and parts house up here in north cali and montana chomping at the bit for an organized catalog so they can help people rebuild thier amc's with a variety of options for an affordable price vs the exorbulant amounts still being charged for the run of the mill parts to the uninformed machine shops, repair shops and parts houses

I can make .pdf files, I just need the address of the linked files. I've already started doing something like that for my own edification (I've started an AMC rebuild bible) with links to various articles within my drive. If I can get this going (again -GREAT suggestion) on MC's server, I can develop a PDF that links back to his server for the info, specs, current price list, etc...

Well I am short of skills etc for the e-commerce side of this but if it takes off, and you want to hit the jeep events with a mobile store/advertising I will pull the trailer and set-up etc with my truck.. I maybe able to locate a trailer inexpensively.. then you can do trade shows/jeep events etc.. I know it's in the future but the offer is there. Also Matt If you find some item you need in bulk ( up to 44,000)lbs call me and I'll get it picked up and delivered to your shop for the price of fuel..(later when you are fabulously rich you can build me a 401).
