Gremlin4ever I have a new Edlebrock Air Gap and Street Demon carb going into my current rebuilding of a 401. My question is: Will the stock throttle linkage work on it? Just trying to get some bugs worked out before I get that far and was wondering if anyone has already installed this intake as of yet.
Lifted79CJ7 I know with my edelbrock performer, I had to get a cable bracket to hold my throttle cable for my CJ7. Not sure if their other intakes are the same. Just an FYI - if anyone thinks about buying an edelbrock carb and an edelbrock 14" air filter - you will need a spacer to make them fit together. Go figure!
fuzz401 you might need the bracket with the 2 sets of holes on my air gap I went with the lokar set up for the carb and kick down then i have a elde carb too
tarior I see in the pic of this motor a line coming off the back of the thermostat housing and another one alongside of the carb, what ae these and where do the go?
